Coastal Provisions Oyster Bar & Wine Café in Southern Shores, NC was founded in 2006 by Dan Lewis & Scott Foster, former head chefs for specialty food chain Sutton Place Gourmet, Hay Day Markets and Balducci's. With the goal of bringing great tasting foods to the beach, Coastal Provisions opened our flagship Market in Southern Shores in 2006 and has quickly grown into one of the top food businesses on the beach with two additional locations in Duck, three restaurant concepts in all, and has become one of the most sought after Outer Banks caterers with our award-winning cuisine and service.

Full Service Butcher: Like days of old, you can actually see and talk to the person that cuts your steak. You'll also hear from our experts what makes our natural meats and prime steaks 'a cut above' the rest.
Fresh Seafood: We source only the highest quality seafood, many from local waters. We'll soon be your only choice for seafood with our impeccably fresh fish, ready to cook crabcakes, seafood salads, seasonings and sauces.
Seasonal Produce: Our experts hand-select the freshest, ripest, tastiest fruits and veggies we can get our hands on, many from local farmers.

Chef/owner Dan Lewis is also a certified sommelier through the Court Of Master Sommeliers, and is happy to help with your wine selections. And with more than twenty wines available by the glass or half glass from the wine bar, anytime is time for an impromptu wine tasting.
